There is a lot you can do with Harmony, a personal information manager offered to Windows users by GemX. You can use it to manage your daily tasks, to generate and store passwords, to create to-do notes, to view email messages, to manage a list of contacts, and more. Lots of powerful functionality is bundled into a properly good tool meant for power users.

The system requirements for running Harmony are: 128MB of RAM memory or more, 30MB of free disk space, 800x600 screen resolution, Windows operating system (2000, XP, Vista, or 7).
The Harmony installer is about 28MB in size. Download it, run it, click through the instructions presented by the setup wizard, and moments later you will have the application up and running on your machine.

Useful information on how to use Harmony is provided on its interface: you can pick a different color scheme for the interface from the View menu, you can load a sample database, you can create as many databases as you want, you are invited to read the Getting Started guide from the Help menu, and you are told that you can send the developer an email or post your feedback on the GemX Community Forum.

As mentioned above, Harmony is a powerful tool meant for power users, a tool that has lots to offer. To quickly put things in perspective, here’s a look at Harmony’s main features: create/open/close/repair/backup databases, create as many databases as you want, import and export data, customize the interface’s feel, lots of settings to play with, built-in web browser, password generator, expression calculator, file explorer, encrypt and decrypt files, archive files, manage a list of contacts, set up reminders, create to-do notes, send emails, check out a comprehensive calendar, and more.

You have a 30-day trial period to use Harmony for free and uncover all the bits of functionality it has to offer.

To put it simply, Harmony is a properly good, powerful, feature rich personal information manager.

Pros

The system requirements for running Harmony are very low; installing the application is a simple matter. You can easily customize the interface. Harmony is a properly good personal information manager; it puts a long list of features at your disposal.
